After progressing the quest to the point where you are supposed to go and meet Callea at Fort Jobb, during the cutscene when meeting her:

To me, he was my father! As cruel as it sounds, I could care less that he died a hero! I wanted him to live! But still, he left me... He...he did not even give me the chance to say good-bye...

I know this is something people actually say in the US but I decided it was worth noting anyway because it's dumb.
It's not cruel to say you could care less; saying you could care less implies (to anyone outside the US) that you care somewhat. It contradicts the sentiment of the statement this character is making.

I hate it when people use this expression. It's legitimately the opposite of what they are intending to say. It shouldn't even be acceptable as U.S. slang because it's just wrong.

I live in the US and hate that. It’s just stupid. It literally means the exact opposite of the point the person is attempting to convey with it.

As far as I’m concerned that’s an error and should be fixed. They wouldn’t have dialog in the game saying “would of” or should of” instead of have, so they shouldn’t have this error either.

According to Merriam-Webster, who are descriptive grammarians (that is, they don't prescribe what you should say, but rather they explain how they have observed people actually using words and phrases in a great wide body of real world examples), "I could care less" and "I couldn't care less" are the same expression, and one is a variant of the other.

I stress here descriptive grammar over prescriptive grammar. Though clearly, it's recommended that one uses the negative version, and those who insist on it view those who use the positive version as wrong, there are still people who use the positive version and we all understand what they mean.

I'd call this one fine.
