World Transfer Applications Begin (03/01/2012)

I get the whole balancing of each server I really do BUT if I can't get all my linkshell members across to another server there is absolutely not point for world transfer for most people....I wounder if they are accounting for the people who have applied for a server transfer on each server. Hopefully they will update it daily.

So does anyone else think it seems improbable that all but two servers are filled to max within 12 hours and the system is accounting for something off perhaps?

Alright all you EU players, get your asses over to Ragnarok so everyone else can actually carry out their transfer plans.

It's not that EU peoples don't move on Ragnarok server but it's not like EU players are a big part à FFXIV players.

French should be around 400-600 people and 20-40% of them are on Ridill and will not move, a very large part of the others french are moving on ragnarok. German people are a smaller number of players and a large part of them are on one server and don't plan to move too. for the others communities i don't really know but i know some spanish will move on ragnarok too.

in fact, ragnarok will have more EU people than the others servers but it would be between 700-1000 EU players in the best case and i think it won't be the case, so probably more between 500-700 EU players. Most of them will move with the time flow but don't expect a massive free slots...As soon a slot will be free, someone will take it right after....

Ragnarok has a lot of slot for international players and people can move with their LS, i'm sure that,the time flows, this server will have a pretty decent population

Hopefully we can add in the people that have work shifts which make it easier to do things in an EU timezone. A lot more than just FR/DE ppl need to go there... The only bright side right now is that our server is full from being overrun with RPers. :O

After the transfer on March 27, when i log in, everybody that I have been playing with for 2 years will be there. Every linkshell and everything. Oh and the two guys that come back for deployment, they will be there too.
Option 4 we would have lost all of that.
I don't know anyone on our server that wanted to leave, except the dicks, (they know who they are)

To try to help i deleted my Alts.

Yeah, well your server didn't get chosen as the RP destination of choice. I like being able to meet and play with new players instead of always seeing the same groups doing the same things. When I moved on FFXI during the creation of Remora, it was by far the best decision I made.

I think you will see a post soon that states its not working correctly, the method of moving, they said would be a +1, -1, +1 new server, -1 old server.

This way it is impossible for them to be all filled up, think of it like scales? Makes no sense. The only explanation would be "staying put" uses up a free slot for some dumb reason.

I just think it's funny that option 2 ended up as not having any option whatsoever unless you were either in the right timezone or felt like staying up until 4am my time. Ragnorak will end up getting scrapped or changed in my opinion, wince it seems there is a lack of people wanting to go. We really would have been better off with the original plan. RPers should just all go there as well since they don't do much anyway. Might help things along..
