Retainers in the house

I know that I can only have a retainer sit outside in the rain (which is cruel considering all they do for me). What I'd like to do is move her inside. I like retainers because we can play dress up with them.

I know, we have mannequins and I do have 3 of them inside already, but mannequins are just glorified coat racks. For me, my mannequins are just to showcase the jobs in which I've reached max level. My house is Lavender ward 8 plot 14 on Siren if anyone wants to come and see what I mean. I have them separated and lined up against the wall as a display.

I would like my NPCs (merchants and menders) to be upstairs behind the counter ready to do business while my retainers are downstairs studying and learning. That would make sense to me.

I know that this isn't important. I know that it's only a nitpick. But it's also a pet peeve. My vendors should be upstairs and my retainers should be improving their skills and not standing in the rain.

You can always buy a tree for them to stand under.

I actually would prefer having a retainer in my house, especially for my FC room which is setup like a command post, with map table, documents, waiting room(need a weapons rack for this that either displays an array of weapons, or I can put weapons onto), rather than having a mannequin that uses up space to sell on my retainer to have it not naked(the eyes are also bad for a mannequin)
