Others have guessed that the starting NPCs will be in their appropriate guilds. It would make sense.

That doesn't account for the images from the Warrior (based in Marauder whose guild is in Limsa) scene looking like it's in Thanalan (probably the combat tournament Uldahns like so much). Hopefully the Warrior quests will have some time in Limsa at least. The only other combat guilds in Limsa are for Arcanists and Musketeers (both classes that don't really exist yet). Then of course there's the Fishing, Blacksmithing, Armourers and Culinarian guilds but DoL and DoH don't get jobs... Poor lonely Limsa. Some of us are still loyal to the largely overlooked city of pirates!

You must have missed the New Years one that came, what, January 23 or something like that? lol This is the 2'nd worst lazy arse letter.

you know before saying things like that, you should really brush up on Japanese tradition. the JAN letter was nice, for what it was supposed to be. As for this letter, yeah it is a little lacking, but we will get all the info on the day of patch anyway, so why does it matter now -.-

Quest might start in Limsa and might have to go to Ul'Dah during the quest. I am sure these quests may require you to travel to different regions.
