Eureka was designed on purpose to be without guide on where to go. Also, it's never meant to be done solo, especially when you're low in level. Trying to solo your way through it, will just result in many deaths (if you die you should say in shout chat that you need to be raised and never use return after you're dead or you will lose 25% of the total amount of EXP needed for you to level up).

You can use https://ffxiv-eureka.com/ to find the map of the current zone you're in (Anemos in your case) and see all the layout of the mobs, their levels, location of confluences etc. and it can help you keep track of dead notorious monsters.

From what I've learned for soloing Eureka as efficiently as possible is to always find enemies who are at the same level as you are at the least. Focus on 1 element at a time to coincide with your challenge book. Make sure to change your element to gain a boost on your damage to the targeted element enemy (the little dial will show you a sword for the element strong against the one you have targeted). If you see a call for a NM grouping try to join a party to get the credits for participating in the fight (not being able to mount sucks and you have to be a certain level to activate the other atherytes).

Try to find a position that will allow you to pull 1 enemy at a time without accidentally agro-ing multiple enemies. Make sure to get the eureka potions too to heal yourself more efficiently.

    Good luck in your hunt.

De-leveling in Eureka is quite annoying, the best advice is to never return after K.O., always shout for a ress, someone might be able to raise you. And also, the fastest way of leveling is joining parties to do challenge log or follow the Notorious Monster train, so you gotta step out a bit of the soloing mode, because frankly it's almost impossible to do Eureka on your own.

You can easily find people that are around your level in an instance. They will most likely always welcome people to help. I've done all Eureka instances that way (although I started from release day). But I've also helped my friends power level through helping them in their challenge log and carrying them from one NM to another.

The NM train does work and will give you good EXP (it gets lower the higher the NM level is from you). But there are NMs that are at your level and even those that are 2-3 levels higher will still give you a really good amount of EXP. When an NM appears, you can join with a party regardless of their level. I've had people that were level 1 join when I was 20. They don't cause any problems to the party, even if they died I still resed them. Some might say "they're not helping you, they're just leeching". But that's not always true. They will still learn to dodge the NM mechanics at least. You'll also get gold in the NM fate and get more EXP than if you were with a party of all of them at your level (since you all won't even be able build enmity to get gold). Once the NM dies, you can just leave that party.

I´ve both joined parties that were much higher level than me and accepted lower levels into mine when I was higher, and not a single time I thought the lower level was a hindrance. Sure, it will be harder to get gold if someone isn´t contributing as much to the damage needed, but getting gold isn´t that hard to begin with. Some kind people will even taxi you with two seater mounts to the NM.
Also, since your elemental level isn´t dependant on the job you are currently using, try using a healer when you join a higher level party, since your heals won´t be affected by your level and you can raise fallen party members, which is always useful.

Perhaps you should change the title to specifically mentioning solo in EUREKA. I came to this thread thinking it had to do with soloing the game and it's about content that is high level and quite specific.

You're not the only one. Sadly they can't change the title cause the forums don't allow people to do that for some silly reason.

I can't offer any advice that pertains to Eureka, but perhaps I can offer a friendly word or two when it comes to grouping with others.

I think you probably should ask yourself why you avoid grouping with others, especially when the FFXIV community is one of the friendliest in the mmo genre. There's no need for a guide when other players will be willing to help you, but you have to ask; they're not just going to land on your lap. I know you said you don't want to be a hinderance to others, but this is self-defeating. With this mentality, you are only hindering your own progress. I saw your thread last night asking for a raise, but if you had a healer buddy with you just imagine how much more convenient it would be for the both of you: They have you to add to DPS so things die faster, and they can raise you on the spot should the unfortunate happen, and I would imagine no one gets through all of Eureka without getting KO'd here and there.

I don't think it's just feeling like you'll only be trouble for others, because I can tell you are fully aware that grouping with others speeds up progress. I believe some social anxiety is also at play here. It's ok, and I fully relate. The game does cater a lot for the solo-minded player. We're even getting trust NPCs next expansion to help players progress through content, much to my chagrin. But SE also encourages grouping, and things will always be more efficient when you do so - well, most of the time lol.

I know it can be tough mudding through those uncomfortable feelings, but trust me when I say that players can and will be willing to help you out. You just need to make it known that you're new, unfamiliar, a returning player, etc. This deflates a lot of that tension you will sense otherwise. You're also not alone. There's going to be players much like yourself in there as well. Try your best to push past and not only you will get stuff done faster, you will also have a lot more fun in the process.

I wish you the best of luck!
