Mudra why so many ninja don't use them?

Do you see other ninja using mudras?
Do you forget to use them?

I don't and if I do it seems like a after thought.
Does the system need to be reworked to make it more friendly?
Do they need to be explained better to the users that don't really use them?

I personally use them as soon as they are up.

Same reason we see ice mages, or dancers without partners, or tanks with no cooldowns.

I've never seen Ninjas much in the first place. I am the Ninja I usually see because I've been doing Mentor Roulette with it a lot, since the new job will be a scouting job.

It's fun to play precisely because of executing all the mudras perfectly without messing up mechanics, but as I play it, I can't help but think it's next on the job simplification list. I could see the ninjutsus just becoming a simple OGCD that doesn't require mudras.

They don't need to be explained better. The players need to read their tooltips, do their job quests, and put in a bare minimum effort of trying to play the job properly.

I wouldn't know because It's very rare that ever see a ninja in my party.

I haven't seen too many ninjas not using mudras. What I do see too much of is Doton on single-target bosses. Raiton does more damage instantly than Doton's entire duration, is faster to cast, and allows you to use Raiju.

If players are ignoring important parts of their kit, that's more often a problem with the player and not with job design.

Yeah some people just miss core class features, to me a ninja not using mudras is pretty much the same complaint as healers not using damage (which i see so often) or a tank not using mitigations.

I think when I was a sprout my first dungeon (the first ARR one) i was confused what my tank stance did i kept spamming it off and on like a random cooldown, I think i thought it increased healing or something? I was very confused to say the least. I did provoke the bosses at least...

Somepeople are learning which is fine, I'd find it concerning if a ninja wasn't using murda's at 90 dungeons or later ones though. Although i don't think id say anything just incase because y'know its ff14 lol.

That's because it used to be slightly better to use it on a single target (I think by a single DoT tick). It seems that SE fixed that oversight.

I've seen tanks do that occasionally. Rare, but amongst my thousands of dungeon runs, I've seen it multiple times.
