Gil gone

It sounds kinda scary for that to happen, but honestly if someone had access to your account and logged in on your character, they potentially could take so much more from you than a few million gil. Definitely be sure to check your retainers often and keep track of any big purchases you make, could be something you overlooked.

I don't purchase many things, and would have noticed a purchase for 2.5 million gil. I use a one time password, and there's no gil on my retainers. There's at least 3 people I've talked to so far this has happened to. This was not a user error or oversight on my part.

So uh this happened to me too, I had logged out with 15 mil ish and the next day I logged back in and ran around for a while until I went to buy something and realized I was missing about 2.5 million gil. Is it possible someone bought something of mine with RMT gil and it got removed? I use a authenticator also.

You will likely have to contact a GM from in-game for information on if your gil has been adjusted by them.

The "Login History" is really your best friend, too bad it only records the last 10 logins but if you checked it before it overwrites anything you'd know if someone really hacked you!...


It might be the case you simply didn't notice when you spent that much gil, memory can play tricks sometimes!...

I did not spend 2.5 million gil without noticing in less than 12 hours while I was not online.

Did you check the login history as suggested? If everything adds up, get in touch with support/GM. It's not like anyone here on the forums can restore your gil.

How do you check the login history? I personally havent encountered this, but it doesn't hurt to know.

You go to the Square Enix Account Management System website, use your login credentials, and there is a Login History tab that shows the last 10 logins for your account. It will show the date, time, IP, and device used to log in.
