C'mon now get serious. I can solo those prime fights in FFXI. Summoner can even solo it at Lv20.
FYI: The Easy version of Ifrit can still kill Lv50s with Hell Fire.

I would much rather see Ifrit as powerful as he is. The weather changes and everyone everywhere will know somebody has summoned him. You know in most single player final fantasy games anyone can summon.

With that said there is a lot more summon beast summoners can use exclusively in FFXIV from all the other final fantasy games.

perhaps, i dont disagree it would be on a much grander scale, however the lack of summoner information makes the thought of anyone being able to summon a primal, very unappealing.
until there is some good news about the summoner job i will continue to be against this
in the very least i am against the idea that a simple card is used to summon him. it should at least be some magical item like an orb or a soul piece or something
