Constant Crashing, unable to log back in my character.

-I was in the middle of using the Aethernet stone in Ul'dah until the game crashed. When I try to log back in my character, the game is now constantly spitting out unexpected error messages. I'm really afraid that my character's been damaged. I need this fixed, URGENTLY!!!

EDIT: It seems after a PC restart and refreshing the game directory, i'm able to log back in, however it seems while I was in the middle of refreshing the directory before restarting, the directory was apparently in use, which prevented me from replacing the game directory with a fresh one in case something happened. Maybe it could be looked into with why the game files were still being accessed after the initial crash?

In any case, the initial issue seems to have resolved itself.

Same issue crash on my character DirectX

I'm seeing issue with DirectX 11. It's crashing on one of my characters.
I can log into another character but the one in question is in Limsa Losa in the Drowing Wench inn. When I log in if I can the game just crashes with a DirectX 11 error.

    I have:

    Reinstalled my Nvidia Drivers
    Reinstalled the entire FFXIV games.

After all that my other characters appear to work. However the one in question just crashes the game. I have seen other times in game on all my characters where this DirectX 11 crash kills my game. It's just happening more often. And it's happening constantly with one of my characters.

Question: How do you "refresh" the directory? And is that advisable from a square enix perspective?
