Forum Ignore List

Can the ignore list function on this forum be changed to block the ignored person's threads from appearing as well as their posts? There is a 12 page thread (as of this post) of what is effectively spam in the general discussion forum that someone started that has completely derailed from whatever the original topic it was supposed to be. The moderators, if there even are any, seem disinclined to do anything about it for the past two days it's been up and I'd like to stop seeing the thread in general by this point.

If we all start ignoring eachother, the essence of the community would be gone.
There's no point of people being on a forum if they can't even communicate or can't even read eachothers tekst.

I think a better sollution would be to implement a "max Posts per day" function where everyone can only build a new topic 3 times a day.

I think there is a maximum post limit already for everyone in the forums. Never reached it myself but seen many players mention it when they think they are making the last post available for the day, or if they come back the next day and would apologize for the delay (because of the limit etc). Not sure about any thread limits though, but I suppose that would be the same as the posts.

You can ignore a thread and just not read it? you know, skip over it?

There are. Accounts that have their main character to level 50 or higher are allowed 20 posts within a 24 hour period, and can create up to 5 threads. The post/thread could do not all resent after 24 hours; they roll off to the minute.

The main issue I have with this is that eventhough some people might say stuff that will get them blocked… they might also have something contributing to say but no one will still be able to read about it once blocked...
