    throttled patch speed?

    Hi! I reformated my computer two days ago. After installing the important things for my computer I decided that it was time to download FF14.

    I'm now on day 3 of downloading. I should be able to download at 15MB/s, and I have many times after I reformatted my computer, however FF14 only downloads the patch at a rate of 0.07 - 1.5MB/s

    I've tried to open ports to no avail and I've contacted my ISP who says there's nothing wrong on their end, so what's going on here?

    Good afternoon and thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

    Have you had this problem before reformatting the PC? Also what kind of connection do you have? Are you connected via wifi or an Ethernet cable? Also do you have any other programs running in the background?
