Crashed on loading

Just started having this issue that has been crashing my game. After completing deltascape (I think) I went to do the unlock quest or alphascape. And when I talked to Cid and was about to be transported into the inbetween area for the raid my game crashed. After that its been crashing after I select my character and begin loading into the game.
I tried restarting my pc, changing to dx9, made a new char and can login to the game just fine with them which works fine but after I still cant get into the game on my main character.

When did this first start happening? Do you recall anything updating/changing that coincides with this?

If this is only happening with one character, you may want to try deleting the locally saved data (located My Documents > My Games > Final Fantasy XIV). Make sure to create a backup of this so you can replace it if it doesn't solve the issue.

The issue started this morning after I spoke to Cid during the quest to unlock Alphascape.
I got an error message this time which I will try and link.
I also reinstalled the game with no success which is what I assume you mean by deleting the locally saved data.

Lastrundown by deleting the locally saved data, we mean deleting everything in the folder(located My Documents > My Games > Final Fantasy XIV). Could you also provide the error message you are getting?
