Suggestion: Lv. 1 All Classes PvP Gear (Glamour)

Hello,

We should have an option to trade Wolf Marks for Lv. 1 All Classes gear for glamour purposes.
There are already job-specific gear but more general Lv. 1 All Classes gear aren't there.

This should not only add more content to PvP section but also motivate some of the players to actually try PvP content.

Any thoughts?

2. Therefore, Lv. 1 All Classes gear shouldn't be as easy to get as job-specific sets.

I do not want to get rid of job-specific sets either. I want both to exist in-game.
Catoblepas Horns is a perfect example about this. More Lv. 1 All Classes gear.

Some glamour gear that's wearable on all jobs would be nice, but might this not have the opposite effect? If it's a universal glamour then people won't have to earn marks for multiple job-specific sets.

I do not wish to lower the bar for getting PvP gear. In fact, I wish to raise it.

I mean technically they've already done this... when you consider the cost of the Catoblepas horns.

To be honest, your opening post is kind of confusing?

Are you advocating:

1) That they ONLY add level 1 All classes gear in the future?
2) That they add MORE level 1 All classes gear IN ADDITION to the role-restricted gear?

I can get behind having more All classes options, but I wouldn't want them to completed abandon adding new role-restricted glamours to achieve that.

Which would in no way be a good thing. I already feel strong-armed to play PvP for the vendor rewards despite hating it, being bad at it and knowing that I'm ruining other people's PvP experience because I don't care, I just want to get it over with as soon as possible to cash in on the marks, buy whatever I want and then not set foot in Frontlines preferably ever again.

It's not as bad as Eureka because at least PvP has a vendor and currency with no RNG lootboxes, I appreciate that at least it's reliable. Still... I don't understand why completely combat-unrelated emotes and such are in the PvP vendor?

That said, if they were to unlock the existing PvP gear for all classes, I'd be totally fine with that.

But otherwise, glamour pieces that aren't PvP-themed belong in Gold Saucer, crafting and quest rewards.

Not liking PvP is a personal preference. I can't argue against a personal preference.
