You won't get it from chaining mobs but you will from Notorious Monsters. I go with low level friends all the time and have be an Uber for many of them.

I did some FATEs but felt like total leech when I was critting 70's and died to anything and everything.

Just sucks since Challenge Log grants tons of experience, but I need to struggle solo for those since there never seems to be anybody around my level there and friends can't assist with them.
