The simplest solution would have been to allow people to queue up for it inside the instance after it becomes available. But the devs love making things terribly convoluted.
Zoning in & out of an instance repeatedly for 3+ hours is VERY dumb! YOOOOOSHIIIIIDAAAAA!
Well, after months of development time creating a new raiding experience with 56 players and unique systems such as logograms and elemental resistances, it only makes sense that they lock 95% of their playerbase out from even seeing it, let alone stand a chance in there... I mean, you don't put all that work into new content just to let people enjoy it.
Oh, wait a sec...
I mean people asked for a public dungeon and what happens when we get a public dungeon? No one organizes in game to enter it. When people organize out of game, they're suddenly satan. You honestly can't win here. A better queue system would help but you can't cure the stupidity that plagues the masses. And if people complain that they can't get into BA cause eureka is balls, well, it's not like SE didn't announce it would be a thing for a while now.Well, after months of development time creating a new raiding experience with 56 players and unique systems such as logograms and elemental resistances, it only makes sense that they lock 95% of their playerbase out from even seeing it, let alone stand a chance in there... It's not like people don't join discord clear/farm groups with zero exp in BA either. It's like queuing into a 24 man instance where there is no ilvl requirement and a bunch of level 50s in AF armor join sometimes.
I must've missed those since I haven't had a clear run in which multiple people snuck in without experience. Maybe one or two but they usually died early on and didn't become a problem. That does suck tho. I saw some people talking about it and I do agree a tier system would be beneficial working with what we have.
unless they could come up with a system where you queue for an instance within an instance... but dunno if that is even possible.
Just use the BA Discord, geez, you don't even need to talk.
I've already run a lot of BA with ease. Couldn't be more simple imo.

The issue that I have is we have little control to organize you can have Discords and LS dedicated to it but you have to sift around for hours to get the right people in, at the right time, I don't get why we can't just invite people into Alliances in BA it makes no sense whatsoever. And even now the Discord servers are getting more ridiculous as they want proof of kill/achievements as well as the whole fight typed out in its entirety, there's issues with this too, someone could easily just get a rando screenshot from a friend or someone and copy paste how to do the fight from a guide.I mean people asked for a public dungeon and what happens when we get a public dungeon? There's so many issues with BA and just getting your friends or the people you play with instead of randoms but this is what we got I hope that the next Eureka actually lets us invite our own Alliance raids or even parties to 8 people there's no excuse it makes XIV feel archaic as hell.
