I mean, like I said we definitely have gotten less in the two recent events so I can see why people are starting to get worried, but overall I haven't seen much of a decrease in the quality of the events. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions on value of what they give though, I guess.

it's just the recent events don't stand out in my mind much. it seem all i got was a glamour piece and some food for the house. I guess i was spoiled the first event i ever participated in. there was a full glamor set, emotes, even a mount was given at the end (i think it was the Halloween event in 2015). it had me doing quests running all over The Shroud, and maybe that's why it is memorable to me.

There have been good and awful events. I agree some of the rewards for most of them are terrible, but you can't be a greedy b**ch for every event wanting everything just because "you pay a sub". Even less at this time when 5.0 is coming soon and of course they are focusing their resources and time on that.

is it just me or does all of the special events as of late seem trimmed down in length and rewards. i felt that way with the Christmas and Halloween events this year.

I thought I was missing something, but no, its just absolutely terrible vs last years.

What events consider people to be good when they think the last few were bad? I'm genuinely curious!

The same event seasons from prior years. Every event seems to have less event and less fun stuff to go with it.

The poster series was fantastic, the housing items have gone from impressive to... non-existent. The glam items seem to be less impressive (see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil masks? Valentines themed furniture? Valentines themed mounts? The Posters?!?! Orchestrion rolls?)

They should just have the old event items up for rewards again, but gotta make that cash shop monies.

I don't care for any of the rewards this year, but the quest writing was top tier. The vignettes of all the Ul'dah NPCs are the exact reason I play this game. I absolutely love seeing all these unique characters interact and feeling like they're a part of a living, breathing world.

The 2017 Starlight celebration gave us a mount, arguably the most top tier reward an event can give. Despite that, it's easily my most hated event of all time. It was boring FATE grinding loosely held together by a barebones story. The only event that even comes close to being as poor was the first Moonfire Faire, but at least that had the excuse of being the very first ARR event. 2017 Starlight was especially disappointing because it came after the stellar 2016 Starlight event.

Obviously we'd ideally have both, but if we have to sacrifice one element for another, I'd much rather have an event with a rich narrative and subpar rewards, than an event with a bad story and good rewards.

I loved the event it was cute. Especially that Roe couple. And there was Yellow Moon, Adalberta, and Myrra's scene.

It was a nice sweet story i'd liked it not much going on for our pcs to do unfortunately but i did like all the different cutscenes in the repeatable quest

as far as i saw you get

1. Nanamo and papashan
2. Yellow moon + Miner and gld guildleader
3. Alc + Wvr + thm guildleaders
4. The songbirds
5. The twin miner brothers + gld roe
6. Gsm + pug guildleaders
7. Biggs + wedge + alpha + omega (Might need to complete Alphascape story for it)
