Squadron mission help

Lately I’ve been working on leveling my squadron in order to raise my cap of 50,000. From what I’ve read you need your squadron to be rank 3, which at least one member is level 40 and completing the level 40 mission that is associated with it. However, I now have 3 members who are level 40. But I don’t have the level 40 mission unlocked and on top of that the level 35 mission “allied maneuvers” is greyed out. Anyone know what I am missing?

Those missions especially the rank up ones are tricky in that the npc won't allow you to run it unless the strength/mind/tactics numbers for them are all green. Also are you just trying to send out three or an actual light party?

From what I know you need to run 5 unique duties and it's a flagged level 50 mission.

I haven't done it myself, I'm just relaying what seems to be a common thing across Reddit and the forums here.

With regular missions, there's some RNG involved in whether they succeed or not, and you don't have to meet all the stat "requirements" (though your chances of success depend on how many you meet). With the flagged missions, on the other hand, there is no RNG. Either you meet all three of the stat requirements and get a guaranteed success, or you don't and cannot even attempt it.

Although technically you only have to have one squad member at level 40 to attempt the level 40 mission, you're unlikely to be able to meet all three of the stat requirements until you have all of them up to that level, or maybe higher if you don't have helpful chemistry bonuses.

Another thing to consider, if you dont have the classes and/or levels to meet the standard of success for the mission you can always try to tweak your teams training to boost the area you lack(at the expense of whatever youre strongest in most likely).
