Sounds like I really missed out...I think people are just being unfair if they try to say the stories of the ARR/HW relics are better than Eureka's. Eureka has brand new areas to explore and its own lore on top of providing background to Krile. After finishing the 60 quest I was left wanting to know more about Eureka the primal too. You might not like the content itself, but to say the story was bad is just unfair.
Unless your idea of a good story is just being told to go gather things over and over until a little fairy pops out of your weapon. :v Woop-dee-do.
Everyone can get any of them if they put the time in. It's hard in comparison though, c'mon most of the others are 'roll your face around your keyboard' levels of difficulty.

Why does it have to be zero sum? Make Eureka one path, make alternative grinds similar to 2.0/3.0 for the people that hate Eureka. People who enjoy Eureka can still get their weapon (plus Eureka-specific rewards like furniture, hairstyles, emotes, mounts etc). People who hate Eureka can still get their weapon. Everyone wins.
"Hello, I'm auditioning for the role of Ser Aymeric de Borel, and I'll be singing Electric Chapel by Lady Gaga"
The Eureka grind was actually much easier than the previous relic grinds, imo, so I didn't mind it. I just minded how bad a lot of the new relics looked compared to previous versions.
They just need to make Eureka more interesting. I'd rather have them focus on that than making two separate mediocre content trees for relics. Especially if the cosmetics for one is superior than the other. I could just picture the complaining now about how they would have done the other one and I can't picture people wanting to do TWO extremely tedious grinds. Maybe if they both lead to the same exact weapons, it'd be doable, but again, I'd prefer the improve Eureka then split it up.

Time for empyrean weapons.![]()
I enjoyed eureka outside of pagos however I still don’t want the next relic tied to the next “diadem/eureka”
I prefer the Eureka implementation over the previous Relics, I could never finish them. Eureka is the first time I have completed a Relic weapon, I am almost finished with the second.
No thanks. Books, unending tomestone grind and time gated dailies are infinitely worse than Eureka.
i hate eureka i quit the game 5 times because of it. i dunno why when i come back and capp Points/gear i feel like there's nothing there since i dont do savage raids.
Yes please give Eureka it's own weapon. I don't hate Eureka but I miss the 2.0/3.0 style weapon. I don't know why we can't have both. If given the choice I would have done a relic outside Eureka.
There is no reason 5.0 Eureka can't have its own weapon & gear similar to PotD, except more upgradeable ( like it is now )!
No one would do Eureka for a piece of junk weapon that's not even higher level than the current Ex primal. Imagine coming out of four stages of Eureka with something less than max ilvl.
The way some people talk it up like sliced bread, im sure they would if still had the same kind of rewards it has now. ( Mounts, Glamour, Hair, Furniture )
There is no reason we can't have more horizontal progression and choices. You don't even need to do the weapon to complete Eureka ( and I know people who have done just that ). The weapon has no story attached at all in Eureka and isn't even a requirment ). It is purely an afterthought because they needed to toss the relic into something.
So again. There is no reason there can't be a good weapon in raid, a good tome weapon, a good relic weapon, and a good eureka weapon. Not everything needs to be BiS. People just want another option to progress their character. No one should be against this thread or having /more/ content ( I understand believing it to be implausible but thats it ). I don't understand the people aruging against this. OP isn't demanding they delete eureka. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
