No free vial of Fantasia with purchase of Tales of Adventure!?!?!

You are supposed to get a free vial of Fantasia after having completed lvl 50 quest - The Ultimate Weapon. This is an item that EVERYONE receives for FREE when they complete this quest, EVERYONE except someone who PAID for a Tales of Adventure. So if you PAY to advance in the game, you will not get this FREE item that everyone is supposed to receive. Please tell me where, during your purchase of Tales of Adventure does it state that you will not be receiving a free vial of fantasia? Why would you not give this free item to someone who has PAID EXTRA for your game?

*cough* As I stated in the other post. When the fantasia was added to that duty the notes specifically said tales users would not get it nor anyone that had already completed it. Secondly the Tales purchase gives a pretty comprehensive read of what all it has to offer.

You did not get any of the quest rewards for all the other quests you skipped did you? So why should this particular reward be different?

We are talking about an item that is worth 10$ in real money.

So? Doesn't change the fact that it is a quest reward, and that it is handled just like all other quest rewards.

other players spent 100 hours to complete the story, which you just skipped .. lol

The logic is that it is treated just the same as all other quest rewards. Treating it otherwise is what would be illogical. How much you paid or did not pay for something else is frankly irrelevant.

And it is not true that all other players get it for free - only those who did the quest The Ultimate Weapon after patch 4.1 got a Fantasia that way. As did those players who had qualified for a Fantasia potion as a veteran reward prior to patch 4.1.

I think you get the quest rewards that are unique to that quest that you can't get on mog station (or failing that it might be in the calamity salvager). But the logic is SE don't want to give you the Fantasia. In fact, if you're paying for a story skip, they're gonna want to milk you for another $10, and I don't blame them. Business 101. If you want a fantasia that badly, go to the mog shop. Personally for you I'd make fantasia cost $100'000'000 each.

Anyway, the logic behind this is pretty straightforward. Level boost is $20 but it is OPTIONAL. You pay to skip the contents for up to level 50 and gain the three items that the website listed: level boost, 300gils and accessories. Anything outside of those three items, including EVERY rewards from all the quests up to level 50, are excluded. Simple as that. People who got it for free play for hours to complete the quest, which is how it should be. A level boost is just a level boost, it does not mean you actually did all the quests.

What I can see here is greediness and a sense of entitlement.
