returning player looking for an active mainly english speaking server.

as the title says, i have just recently come back to ffxiv & the realm im currently on (lich) looks & sounds dead. i play a WHM & im looking to join an active, friendly fc, but there just isnt any recruiting going on here.
any suggestions as to where the best place to transfer might be, would be very much appreciated.

wait for the world visit system, look around on other worlds then, take your pick outta the ones most active for your desired content. shouldn't be long now anyways, 1-2.5 months at best.

There will be free transfers when half of EU worlds get put on their own data center. If you have any cross world friends you won't be able to talk to the ones on the other data center. Ragnarok, Cerberus and Odin are the most popular servers to my knowledge.

i wont lie, im billy no mates on ffxiv. i didnt even know SE were changing things.
coming from the uk, what would be a good realm to consider moving to when the changes happen?
if things get busier on lich, i'll stay here, but its not good atm imo.

Not quite sure how you think Lich is not busy nor has a large number of English language speakers as it's the main language I see there. Most hubs are busy with people touting their FC also.

Zodiark is almost constantly at capacity during daytime hours, and there's a solid number of english speakers there. Also Moogle is/was a hub for a large group of UK players some years ago, I could'nt tell you if they still play now however.
