Effects look fine as they are, if anything need more flashy stuff for all WS so you can distinguish what WS someone has used just by seeing what they did (as in XI)

I don't think spell and weapon skill animations in this game are awful. They aren't amazing, but also definitely not awful.

The new job animations on the other hand are amazing.

Overall, I disagree with OP and find his/her assessments to be more of a matter of personal distaste than any sort of issue worth considering as far as the game's aesthetic goes.

The best use for this thread from this point on would be to discuss Power Rangers until it is locked, in my most humble opinion.

I like the visual FX's coupled with the sound FX's. It shows how "special" your Weapon Skill is because it is a special move.

I admit I derailed but not once I insulted you the way you just did. You're right about the immaturity though, I made fun of your topic because it's a subject I would never have thought someone could start a thread for.

Your post should have been oriented like a poll, something like "What do you think about the visual FX's used for Weapon Skills and Spells?" and then follow by "My opinion is...".

This is exactly the path you shouldn't take when you post. But I understand your point of view regarding the visual FX's, if you don't like it you don't like it it's cool.

Next time be clever when you post because hostile/dumb thread gets hostile/dumb responses and that is why the hostile/dumb threads stay on top. Interesting threads just get forgotten. Well it's also clever to start an hostile thread to keep it on top, but that doesn't serve you right I think.

OH MY GOD. THANK YOU. Finally I find someone on these forums who understands. If you post a thread with a whiny/arrogant/"I could make this game better than the devs"-like subject line, you are GOING TO GET TROLLED/FLAMED. Why? Because you're making yourself sound like an asshole. Obviously forcing your opinion on others like you're the absolute voice of reason will make them angry.

I can't even tell you how many thread titles I've read since the forum launch that are something along the lines of "[x] IS STUPID CHANGE IT". Yet, amazingly, when you use titles like "Should [x] be changed?" or even "I think [x] should be changed", the thread actually turns into a constructive discussion. Unfortunately this is a concept that most of this community is unable to grasp.

I don't think they are sparks, they are maybe an attempt to indicate the impact point on mobs? Which could/can be usefull... They don't detract from anything for me. If you keep this thread going someone will make a post I love the power ranger sparks on ws's, MORE PLEASE.
