With 2.0 it's all going to look like it properly belongs I would think.. Although -in my opinion- it looks absolutely fine as is. I have the imagery that 2.0 will be a bit more colorful.. hence the colorful weaponskill animations.

I'm not seeing the problem with them either, at least they look better than most of the character models and all of the emotes...

Want some real effects? I'd like to see some blood and gore personally. Breaking a goat's horns is nice, but what would be awesome is hacking it's head off with a killshot and watching blood squirt out of the neck.

I posted to discuss a real subject, consider it important, or not. Spell and weapon skill animations in this game are awful... And you people have done nothing but derail the thread for four pages, to the point this thread is being featured on the top of "hot topics". Go outside, take a real weapon( Iron,Steel,Carbon) not those shitty ones that are cold forged and sold for 20 bucks. and just start Wacking Metal,concrete or Other Hard surface materiel and i bet your real weapon of choice sparks.
