HELP! unable to complete version check

hi, I'm looking for some help as the title says when I try to launch the game it says "unable to complete version check" [30605]20448][10009][10010]. I've tried all of the answers I could find so far and the game will launch on a VPN or my phone tether but the problem is I'm new to the game and thinking I could just try to re-install the launcher and uninstalled the game but can't download the game under VPN or tether

*edit* i don't know if this matters but the game was working fine a few hours ago

This is happening to me, too, except with a [10019] instead of [10010].

happened to me as well. after logging out for a few hours to make some dinner. whats worse, i uninstalled the game and now i cant get it back. download links are not working. they keep timing out.

yeah thats about the same as what happened to me logged out for a bit and now this and i also was having the problem that the sites are timing out i was able to bypass that with a vpn

I have the game loaded on two pc's both are having the same issue. and the download links time out on both desktops and my laptop. nothings working

Same here as well. On both my Desktop and Laptop. PS4 works fine however.

I tried a few different fixes but nothing is working....

Not sure if related, but Steam is really slow right now, and its not my internet

I am having same trouble. Think there log in server must be down that verifies what version you are using. Hope they fix it soon I just bought Stormblood expansion and went to log in to update everything and this happened. I thought I messed something up when upgrading but am glad other people are having same trouble as me. Little bit of a relief even though I am sorry this did happen to you lol. I am feeling the pain as well.
