Boot failure

Hello,

My FFXIV game client won't boot. I get the error "Unable to complete version check. [30605][20448][10009][10019]". I was able to start the game just fine last night; also, there is no issue with my internet connection.

Having the same issue here. After ~30sec, dialog box pops up saying that the Boot Window cannot complete its version check, and fails to reach the launcher screen.

Tried restarting the computer and restarting the computer in safe networking mode (as per advice from past issues of this type), no luck there. I have been checking server status/maintenance (another reason for this error in the past) - everything on those fronts seems to be in order.

it has been going on for 8 hours thus far with no response. I went to bed because of logging out to check something and could not log back in and went to bed because of it to wake up to it still not working. no news from square even noticing it.

If you live in a highlighted red area you wont be able to play due to issue with steam

Does this apply to people who don't use Steam as well? ;; I don't use the Steam version.

Launcher now works for me too! Can log in just fine.
