Doman Enclave donations

Whatup yall.

I'm going through the Doman Enclave donation thing and I see that there is a limit on what gil you can get back for the donated items.

My question is, is that limit how much you can donate towards the quest as well?

For example, if the limit is 20 thousand, and I donate a bunch of Allagan Pieces for 40 thousand, will the Doman Enclave repair count for 20 thousand, or 40 thousand?

That's the limit for donation amount too.

You can't donate more than the limit even if you want to. The NPC stops accepting donations for the week once you hit the limit.

Not entirely true. You can exceed the limit if the current transaction card goes over whatever is remaining of your weekly limit. The game will prompt you how much the difference is and ask if you wish to proceed. Similar to accepting scrips, rank/tomes from beast tribes, etc. I don't believe this accounts for anything though, and you're just accepting less gil. After that then she will no longer accept any donations until reset.

20,000 is the total amount they will pay you for the week. So you don't want to donate 40,000 worth of items because you will still only get paid (and credited for donating) 20,000!

If you are donating stacks of items, you may need to split the stack so you don't go over the limit. For some reason you can't donate part of a stack.
