New Job Zodiac + Anima What If Thread

If in some universe SE did Zodiac and Anima weapons of all the new jobs, such as SAM, RDM and GNB...(Gunbreaker) would you do them? I would probably do them for GNB lol. Edit: Who am I kidding... I'd probably do them for RDM and SAM to...

Also I'm doing the Zodiac quest for PLD and I think it's time for the Zodiac quest to be nerfed somewhat.

20k GC Seals for Bombard Cores each still.
100k gil for NPC items still.
And lets not talk about the prices still being charged for the crafted items, which I would hope goes the way of the unidentified items for the Anima weapon and can be gotten some other way eventually.

meh, my biggest gripe with the zodiacs is the one book/one map lockout, and you can at least get around the map limit using chocobag/retainers, i really wish you could buy either all the books for a job at once, or hold one book for every job, primarily to cut down on the amount of just constant teleporting you have to do for book step currently

the only thing that needs to be nerfed about the lvl 50 relics is the books
and its not the books itself that's the probelm hunting log 2.0 is fine
its that you cant just buy them all At once

If they looked good enough, sure. I just did the sch book for my alt and it only took me a few days. Could do most things between queues and everything else goes super fast since its all ridiculously easy solos now.

Zodiac weapons are the best relic glamours. The base weapons look good and there is none of that overwhelming glow they have grown so fond of in HW and beyond. Honestly we are basically just holding oddly shaped light bulbs at this point.

Done three Zodiac and four Animas, and currently doing NIN Zodiac with my partner while he makes the WHM one. I find ARR relics prettier and more fun to do, so if they look nice, I would love to do Gunbreaker or the other jobs from 5.0.

Depends on the design, really. Although the Zodiac and Zetas had really good designs and the glows actually complemented the weapons rather than...whatever the hell they did in HW, the weapons themselves were pretty bland until they started to glow and even then they looked pretty ugly (looking at YOU, Terpander).

Seriously, Nirvana Zeta is still one of, if not the prettiest WHM staff to date <.<

That may be a bit too big for SAM. There is a giant katana looking weapon that somewhat resembles it, at least in size and general shape, but it's a DRK weapon. I think the Sigmascape tome weapon?

You are correct. It's the weapon I'm currently using on my DRK and will continue to use as a glamour well into ShB. However, as long as the blade is on this katana, it is still not as long as Sephy's.
