BA elitist groups monopolising primal

They don't accept screenshots as they can be easily manipulated, plus they already have their own type of logs to find any ToS violations the players being reported are accused of anyways.

SE has never accepted screenshots or videos as proof because you could manipulate them easily. But if these people write that in the chat you can report them with this text and the gm's can check the logs.

EUREKA BA - on Primal we have a serious issue that is causing a massive amount of friction across the different servers.
an group has set itself up to server primal for the new eureka raid and is controlling the access to this raid which is impacting many players .

As unless you join their group and sign up to their terms which include have questions set before being allocated a raid then its becoming virtually impossible for players on primal to experience the new raid.
myself and some other cross server people are gathering and assisting players both in party finder and in the instances to get groups however last night all instances we closed to any parties for more than 2 hours. this continues now into a 2nd weekend.
the attitude in the instances form these 'players' towards other is so rude and elitist .


I find it so frustrating that we are now being blackmailed and intimidated by these people I so wish something could be done .

maybe more instances or the ability to set up raid parties in pf would be good.

this is highly exaggerating whats actually going on...

there are no rules in joining raid parties unless the party leaders themselves make a password for their group locked (like "what is acceleration bomb"). But there is ALWAYS a raid or 2 going in with new people taking up the majority and they get an instance just like everyone else.

As for the Discord server itself, its literally just copying the "learning/progging/clearing" rules we set up in PF already for extreme/savage.

and blackmailed? the only people i see banned from the discord are the people purposely sabotaging runs or people openly harassing other players.

How are they enforcing this supposed monopoly? My understanding of BA is that it's first come, first serve for who gets in. If they are being rude/intentionally bombing runs because people who "weren't supposed to enter" got in, then they can be reported for breaking TOS.

It's a public discord open to anyone with over 3,000 members. Where anyone can join or form a raid group depending on their requirements/progression status. To call it a monopoly is a bit much and as others have said there is still nothing stopping anyone from taking portals.

They aren't talking about monopolizing the Discord. They are talking about people attempting to monopolize the instances themselves and filtering who can access them.

There is no way to do this, as once the portals are up and someone has gotten the buff from ovni. There is no actual way to "block people" from portals.

I've been in the discord for a couple of runs.
They say to ask politely if they don't mind leaving a portal for a premade group. Nobody should be demanding or threatening.
Also, the ToS they have on their discord has you agree to not taking other peoples portals if THEY are the ones in the premade. It's just all around niceness.

That being said, of course, nothing is actually stopping you from not fulfilling their request and just going into BA yourself anyway. They'll still heal you and such, and maybe even encourage you to join up in voip for an easier time clearing.
In fact, the only hard set rule in place by SE is that if you're a random that happened to get in among a premade group, and they DON'T support you as normal, such as leaving you behind, not healing you, etc, they can be held accountable for not playing appropriately.

I've never actually seen any hostility, just polite requests that the portals have assigned players as they managed to round up 48+ people for the content and worked on all getting in the same instance. It's hard to say no when they do the hard work for that, but saying no isn't against any rules nor can they stop you.
