Official Warning issued when I was not Online

I logged in today at 9:20pm EST and was greeted to a Notice of Official Warning due to Violation of the Final Fantasy XIV User Agreement which stated was for violations on Feb 18 2019. I wasn't on that day and am confused. Can I get some clarification of why I received this warning.

Also, if you were reported for something earlier (could be as much as a week or more depending on their investigation), there's no telling when your infraction might have been (if there is merit to the warning).

I'm guessing it's the email that's telling you the day your warning was issued. Not when whatever it was happened. People seem confused by the wording they use

I would ask a GM about it. You can contact them in-game form the support menu and select a support question that is closest to what you're wanting to ask about. Then it will give you an option to contact someone about it. I don't know if you can do that directly from the message itself. Their policy has changed recently and turned SJW on people. You can't really give opinions to others in-game anymore without it potentially backfiring on you. Your best to just keep to yourself with randoms and be part of an FC that is open to discussions and improvements. It might not be related to this but their new policy is cryptic and very open to interpretation so there's no telling unless you ask a GM yourself.

Could it be timezones? If you are playing night time in EST then a huge slab of the world is a day ahead of you.

Your night of February 17th could easily be the 18th date they mention.
