I was really hoping that for this fan fest 2019, that they would re introduce both clothing sets and possibly the pets as well. It only seems fair that items exclusive to a fan fest would be purchasable again during a fan fest.

I played back in the day but couldn't purchase the e-ticket because of financial issues and I also thought they would re-introduce those items to the mog station at some point. What SE could have done this year was include the Dream of the Fayth with the current 2019 fan fest mount and pets as an extra bonus item? So that you can still buy the 2016 items in-game with the tokens. I wouldn't make it less special as its still a Fan fest exclusive.

I also find it annoying that alot of cool cosmetics and minions are locked behind events that never come round again. Seems like a waste of some amazing looking items.
I just wanted to know your guys opinion on the matter? Should they re-introduce these items at some point or not? Thanks!

I think the Moogle outfit on the Mogstation was from an earlier FanFest, so I would be surprised (and extremely disappointed) if they didn't add the Tidus/Yuna outfits on the Mogstation at some point as well. Hopefully they'll release it shortly after the Tokyo Fanfest this year.

I think wanting exclusivity, especially on an in-game item that is only bought and not earned by doing something like challenging content, is quite selfish.

I am fortunate enough to have these outfits and I 100% support removing the exclusivity. My love for them is absolutely not affected by their rarity. More people having access to them won't change how I feel about them.

And to those whose love for these outfits will diminish if the exclusivity is removed...well you didn't really love the outfits anyway. You loved having something because someone else could not.

But yea, like you said, the change in exclusivity wouldn't change what they mean to me, however, giving them for cheaper to the masses is a reasonable thing to be peeved over.

As far as I recall you got the outfits and the Yuna minion along with the fanfest virtual ticket. You personally may have been paying for just the outfits, but SE were selling you more than that.

If I am remembering the above correctly, then expect the items to be on the mog station for cheaper. First of all it's likely that the two outfits and the minion will be sold separately instead of being in a package, and secondly for obvious reasons SE won't also be selling a fan fest virtual ticket.

If I am wrong then please remind me of the relationship between the acquisition of the item codes and the fan fest ticket.

Regardless if SE was selling more than that at the time with the outfits, the outfits and minion was used as an incentive to purchase the $30 fanfest ticket too as those were items that you could only get by paying a one-time $30 transaction, and yes I did watch the fanfest as it gave me background noise at night while working on some stuff. However, it's not wrong to want the fanfest items to be equal or close towards the pre-existing price that they were thrown into. They don't have to be $30, but they should be close towards that amount, maybe at least half which would be $15 or $10 since, like you said, they'll be kept separate anyways.

So, as example math:

Yuna outfit = $10 each

Tidus outfit = $10 each

Yuna, Rikku, or Lulu minions = $5 or $7 each

Total Amount for a both outfits and 1 minion = $25-$27

That seems kinda adequate.

And even if someone just wants an outfit or 1 minion, it'll still be $15 or $17 which is about half of the fanfest price or a little over. That at least seems fair to me.

I honestly don't think it's a terrible thing to expect other people to pay a fair price like the previous people did, selling them for far lesser just because the fanfest ticket isn't with them just makes it seem like SE is disingenuous towards the people who paid more to have access to them.

We still have have one more fanfest to go, they may put them up on the mog station after the Japanese fanfest.

Generally they should do what they did with butler and maid set (and they probably will with Tidus and Yuna set)

This is right way to give out these exclusives ,since original owners still get some benefit while everyone else gets the glamour they want.
