Sad thing is ppl aren't realizing xi never was bad with that in fact xiv only has 4 things over xi

1 graphics
2. Gender option for cats,roe
3. Creation
And 4 it can be played on ps4

Literally outside those 4 xiv is alot worse


Even if someone did camp or lock out its not like you have to run in circles for 30mins 2 a hour for a q which is alot better

I prefer XIV over XI. Saying XIV is worse is subjective and opinionated since I personally like XIV more. And not just because of it's graphics.

could let ff14 flourish and work on more original things
referencing ff11 is all good since ff14 references other FF games enough
but if you keep asking for ff11 stuff,
you might aswell just play FF11.

Sometimes I feel that's the problem. I feel so many people want XI back that XIV cannot really have it's own identity. When we get new job announcements, the community want's them to be how it was in XI. When we get new content such as Diadem and Eureka, they want it done like it was in XI. Some of us actually like the way XIV is. What we don't want is the tedious things XI was infamous for. The deleving, having to be in a party for literally everything. Tagging things first along with the awful first come first server mentality which caters camping. The horrible grinding. Eureka was given to us to recreate the XI experience, and a lot of us dislike it. XI was a hardcore legacy game. XIV is a casual game. Should the XI fans be treated once in awhile? Sure absolutely. But trying to transform every aspect of this game into XI is not the way to do it.
