Can Ovni please give a buff to all around him once he dies which is needed for BA?

There's way to many people who do enough damage to get credit for the Ovni fate in Hydatos. And then they run away to get a good portal while leaving the boss for others to kill.

Can Ovni become one of those mobs where he doesn't die even if you take him to 0%, instead once he reaches 1 HP, he starts casting an AOE maybe slightly larger than Megastorm, and if you stand in it you get some buff called something like Aetherically Unbalanced.

And if you have this buff form Ovni's explosion + the level 60 gold rating buff, only then can you enter a portal.

Same thing should be applied to the support NM as well because there are people who run away early for that as well. I'm seen portals on the very edges of maps get instantly claimed after a support FATE has ended.

This would solve a lot of headache for people actually helping to kill the bosses so everyone can enter BA.

I'm not sure why the support portals don't start off blue as well.

That would help the people who are truly interested in doing BA get in before those who are taking portals on a whim or for the sake of actively griefing the teams trying to clear.

You really do NOT want randoms at AV or Ozma when screwing up mechanics can kill the raid either through direct damage or by making them unable to beat the enrage due to the damage down debuffs.

I keep thinking this "those outside have to work for those inside to get the rewards" thing is a bad move from SE.
Of course, it might work in Japan, considering they have a sens of the community but come on, we occidentals are so selfish, no wonder there is abuse oO

@OP: Sounds like you want Onvi to function the same way as bunnies where there is a hard-cap on player limit. Would make things interesting because you may end up with terrible party compositions. They would have to change it so that ppl can change jobs at the start and then are locked in once the dungeon begins.

Honestly BA sounds like a headache to co-ordinate with and literally one party/person can end a fight for everyone just because they sniped a node and went in unprepared. I was just in an instance where ppl were debating if node sniping the support was an offense. I would like to try it but I'll wait till things get more organized. I'm also in no rush for a mount that has the generic mount music. Such a waste they could have easily put the FF9 battle 2 theme.

People outside get rewards as well. It's a level 60 NM so it gives good EXP and Crystals. And with the horrible rate of NMs in Hydatos, having these extra from Support NM helps like crazy.

But honestly, everyone who qualifies for BA and manages to get gold on the support NM should get at least 1 Eureka Fragment.

When did I say that? I don't see how I can make it more clearer. My suggestion is when Onvi / Support NM dies, he does an AOE around himself. If you get hit by this AOE, you get a new buff. The current buff where if you accept going into BA and get gold from the NM still remains. But now if you want to enter a red portal or blue portal, you need both the buff you normally get + the new one Onvi / Support NM gives you himself.

This way, people who run away from the NM, just so they can "secure" a portal quickly get punished by not being allowed in.

If you want to go as an organised group, there's an item you can use to enter Blue Portals. It's why it exists in the first place. It's not that hard to get one but hard enough that not everyone is going to be spamming them. So if you really want to co-ordinate a good run, just farm the item.

And that's why it won't work. Eureka has so many people in it that you often don't show up on the boss agro table. An interesting side effect of it is that the boss literally can't see you sometimes - if you get hit by Omni's circle aoe, or by PW's ice circles, and enough players were hit by it before you were, it won't actually hit you.
Making it so the buff is dependent on being hit will hurt people more, I think. At least until they fix it so there isn't a limit to how many players a boss can hit with a single attack

Actually NA and EU have had much better success at BA than JP has. Because NA and EU have formed Discords and organized groups and parties to go into BA, whereas JP is all about just making it a truly 100% free for all experience. In fact, if you try to form up a small preformed group to go into BA, the JP players will actually harass you for doing so.
