They have certainly done well in conditioning the playerbase to accept these limitations like they are normal when it is only FFXIV that has them.

That's my problem with BLU, instead of letting BLU play in their themepark MMO they decided to sandbox the job as it own content. Basically negating BLU from 90% of the content since we depend alot on the duty finder. But not only that we are relegated to old content instead of current expansion content which is honestly a slap in the face.

You want BLU to be a solo job fine, but don't put all these limitations on it and call it a job.

Our brother MMO FFXI has a solo job too, it's called beastmaster yet they didn't have these absurd limitations and could still party with others if they wanted to, sure they don't have a duty finder in that game, but beastmasters still played solo and could do current expansion stuff. That is the framework they should have used for BLU if they truly intended for it to be a solo job, not this mess.

Keeping BLU out of raids is one thing, but out of the rest of the game is another thing.

I just hope they give us the Overpowered job that can solo every content of his own level by himself (like it supposed to be from 1st annoucement), without need others to carry him, just make his skill really owerpowered, not a worst way of other classes. Right now is basically 1/2 lv80 player carryng lv50 blu to learn spells "NICE GAMEPLAY". Or at least give blu the ability to Queue into duty finder and automatically get matched with others Blu who Queue too for the same Duty.
There is no gameplay into blu right now, is just find some1 or a friend and getting carryed to old content and wait HE do the job for You, wait enemy to use the skill you need, kill boss, repeat untill is learned, proceed to another boss untill book is full, end of blu gameplay. "FUN"
I actually understand a limited OP job to be LIMITED to not ruin content but blu just sucks, is not OP, is not good, is not fun, and require a bullshit way to play content as it is now.
HOOOO wait, we have is own minigame thing that actually need 1 day(or less) to be end if you already learned the skill you need (that you supposed to have, since blu actual gameplay is be carryed in old content untill you have all skills)
Soo now we have 2 way to play blu:
- Be carryed in old content
- End Masked Carnival in 1 day or less
Then wait next expansion for level increase.
This is the worst gameplay job concept i ever saw in any MMOrpg.
