Outside of what others have said, Hall of Novice and all that.

I'd say, start slow and ease into it. Don't try to pull wall to wall right out of the gate, it doesn't end well. One piece of advice I'd give though, is when you are PuGing, be upfront with your parties. Say you are learning to tank, or you haven't tanked this dungeon before. I promise you, 99.99999999999999998% of players will become far more forgiving and even offer some basic tips, especially if they are a tank player just derpin' on DPS or healer.

Spring boarding off that, never be afraid to ask questions, and be open to advice. And when I say advice, I mean actual constructive and helpful advice not "OMG! Just do this you dumbass!" advice.

Out side of all that, it's all learning the ropes bit by bit.
