I took "happy accident" to mean how it looks from an in-universe perspective. That is, none of the characters were expecting what happened after BA to happen. So for the characters, the scene before BA is the "end of the story".

So I just got to to the choice part of hyratos and I have no idea which option to take, I don't feel invested in the story to make a 'in character' choice and am worried I'll pick the bad ending an regret it....any help?
If you plan on playing BA, it really doesn't matter which choice you take since the outcomes of both choices happen no matter what option you pick. Just go with whatever you think is better.
If you don't plan on playing BA...
Taking Krile's path will result in Eureka, the Primal, being sealed, but not killed. It will still be around waiting for more of its aether to be siphoned off so that it can be killed properly. And Ejikia will be alive
Taking Ejikia's path will result in Eureka, the Primal, being killed for good. However Ejikia will be dead.
The detail about Eurea that left the greatest impression was its similarity to Ultima, the High Seraph. Both are primal/eikons that can create and distribute tools for mortals that corrupts them into primal-like entities (unless they have the Echo). This is a rather notable contrast to the "products" of the other primals we've encountered so far, which do not seem to corrupt mortals; otherwise Rowena's merchants would be some kind of voidsent/lucavi hybrid by now. The question then who summoned them, or were they otherworldly beings like Omega & Midgardsormr?
I think the problem with Eureka and BA is that this could be impossible for players after this expansion. You can still do any savage raid expansions later. Heck with the increased levels you can do them unsynch later with maybe 1-2 other people and see the story. Eureka itself has its own leveling system. Thus in the next expansions people still have to level through the whole Eureka (which is seemingly already not done by that many of the players) and then somehow find over 50 people to clear that dungeon. As far as we know right now you cant unsynch it thus it could happen that the whole part of this story will forever be locked away. And that is imo (in a game with mostly casual players and that sees story as one of their main points) just bad.I don't have an issue with story elements being locked behind tougher content. If anything, I wish it happened more often. Aside from being a great incentive to overcome a particular challenge it allows for greater scope in regards to showing off a particular opponents full talent. Many of the EX and Savage fights are a lot more theatrical and mechanically heavy than their story mode counterparts and it'd be great to see that reflected in canon.
