Play early?

So apparently if we preorder Shadowbringers we can play it as early as March 2nd I think. Does this mean we will get a beta version, or something like that?

We won't get early access until June 28th I believe. I don't know where you got the March 2nd thing from but it's false.

Early access is June 28th, and actual release is like July 2nd. It’s just we get to play the full product a few days before people who didn’t preorder.

You get the in-game items early (March 1st, 2nd or 3rd... can't remember date).

That is a minion and the Aetheryte Earring.

Aetheryte Earring has an exp boost on it and it's ilvl will increase/sync to the current job you are using. Effect works until level 70. An item for catching up to level cap, or giving a boost to other jobs you might want to get to 70 before the expansion.

You get the pre order items, the earrings and the minion, around that time. Not the game.

There are pre-order bonuses that should be available in game at the beginning of march. However the early access wont be till 6/28/2019.

How cool would it be if they released the new jobs that early so you could get them to 70 and get use to them before the expansion. Not asking for that btw nor EVER expecting them to do that... just saying it would be cool... but with the battle mechanics upgrade in 5.0 Releasing the new jobs now just to "redo" them would be a BIG waste of dev time.
