Is Baldesian Arsenal discord a mistake?

We spent a good hour and a half organizing tonight, spending roughly 45 minutes server hopping. I gave up. There are just too many discord groups looking for too few instances, and we would consistently just queue in instances with other premades, including hardcore raiders. This is getting really tedious and just not fun gameplay. Server hopping isn't gameplay.

And then when you try joining BA in an instance without a premade in it, it's absolutely empty. You're have little choice but to "steal" premades' portals to get to do the content without wasting hours away in Discord making no progress.

To me, BA design is full of flaw. It is called public dungeon but it is really limited. In addition, it needs support from outside party, and the worst thing about outside party, they only get 10 crystal for their works (and 9 lockboxes). What they should do: abolished outside NM support and 144 can join in directly (like what diadem is).

BA needs to be part of the duty finder. Only way to fix this massive oversight.

Make adjustments as necessary allow rezzing etc. Make difficulty in between 24 man and savage.

BA is so extremely pug unfriendly that the discord probably is the only way you'll see clears.
They give out the info freely and you can always just go in mute and use the tools they provide to get in without ever talking at all.

You can't really party finder 48 people for a group queue without an external resource to organize and the dungeon itself actually is designed in a way that the content is easy but one random person that doesn't know what they're doing can wipe out everyone

With the myriad of flaws in the implementation of BA and Hydatos in general. The discord is pretty much the one thing making it workable

I think a pug group could get through it but the way it is we will never find out. I manage to get a hours worth of play in the last 7 days. first time was with a group of 3 pts never got past first boss but was fun I enjoyed it. 2nd time I lucked into we ran out of time but I could see absolute virtue in the back . 3rd time I seen discord doing there thing but 1 party was not locked and password protected.... it blew my mind so I took it. then came the discord password which I don't use to play games. after 5 min of convincing them I could do that I pug savage they said ok enter at your own risk lol so I did and died at end of first boss cause I was a tad slow on the last aoe he did. left for dead I had no choice but to leave. Before this I figured in the next 5 months or so till Shadow brings comes out I could get a clear and the mount. I have my doubts. But wouldn't it be simple enough to have open PF's or just take in 3-4 full pts to leave room for ppl in the zone. As much forms I have read on the matter I cant believe how much blame is tossed towards full discord groups and taking portals not to mention miss leading facts on those matters ex. taking portal is sniping which is untrue I seen the follow up gm report about it If u take to play and no just to get in and exit etc.. that nothing has evolved past that. Until if ever SE makes it DF optional or takes away locked PF etc. I see no reason why we the ppl who play cant simply say PF is unlocked discord is not needed feel free to join. I'm willing to bet that will cut done the real sniping. There has got to be like over hundred ppl that are actively playing BA who can make this happen. The ball is not on the pugs court. ty all I said more than I said all day lol but id really love to play this content on my ps4 and no discord.

simply need to give up discord only. not everyone wants to use it. make the PF unlocked for ppl. That would solve a huge problem.

The problem isn't discord tho. The PF suggestion is fine - that I agree with, but let's not sit here and blame discord, because that truly isn't the problem.

its just the discord only part of it. using discord if fine. I have only ask a few times to get in just to be referred to use discord but maybe I just got unlucky those tries. Next few days ill keep active getting in PF with out discord. If I am wrong which I hope I am ill get the word round for others to give it a try.
