Better Question... Is Baldesian Arsenal a mistake?
Oh... Better Question... Is Eureka a mistake?
In all seriousness tho... I think both are mistakes.

i don't
we need more content like BA in this game,
where we actually use tools like Sleep spells,Silence, stuns, knock back etc etc where our entire kit is at our disposal plus these logos that make it more interesting
most regular enemies in there are a real threat where you cant mindlessly pull everything wall to wall and spam your aoe
all bosses have real mechanics not with the dungeons we have now where first two bosses are so minor and the last boss only 10% more then the other two
co-ordination needed both inside and outside of the place.
yes the place has some flaws but i hope to see more high end open dungeons in the future.
I was a bit confused at first when i saw the 70% chance of raise but i understand 100% now since it would trivialized the place with 100% auto re-raise.

Both are experiments in content design. And we need more content that does that. Based on success or failure, we could see the new features like logograms, bunny chests, public dungeons, and elemental wheel used in other content such as deep dungeon, blue mage or perhaps a 56 player savage raid series.
The arsenal is an amazing piece of content that challenges players in a way that the game has never seen before. Don't treat it like a mistake just because the method of matchmaking needs work.

It is and it's good that SE is stepping into that direction. But I guess some just like doing the same mindless dungeons we have 100 times rather than a single challenging one lol.

Honestly I'd rather take the 100 dungeons because I can actually participate in them. Most of the "new and innovative" content expects me to have a static or
or is made so simple it borders on insulting the abilities of the player base (Eureka = FATE grinding, Masked Carnevale = guildhests).
It would be nice if the devs could combine accessible and challenging into a single piece of new content. Trials and raids prove that those two are not mutually exclusive. Extreme dungeons could fill this void assuming they don't once again exclude the vast majority from even trying the content by placing nonsensical restrictions to entry and grouping.

I'm with you that BA has an issue of long wait time to find and organize a group to do it, which needs to be addressed by SE. But that doesn't change the fact that it's a really fun experience. I was replying to the part that just because of that issue, some labeled BA entirely as a mistake as a content rather than it being SE's fault for not making it accessible and easy to get a group for it.

I think there needs to be a way to organize 6 parties in the PF. Then you can go in with those 6 parties.
Once the mods in those discords get their clears and loot I doubt they'll bother helping keeping them clean and operational anymore as it's not exactly content you farm a lot of times. That's the problem with it.

The whole implementation of BA seems to be all over the place. I think the matchmaking needs a bit of work done to it.
Everytime I go into Eureka all I see is people arguing over a premade group trying to get in, and randoms just wanting to go in and try.

I don't know about your server/datacenter, but when I've been in BA groups, the people in the group almost always shout a link to the discord in eureka, asking that people join the discord if they want to get in on organized BA runs. There are multiple public discords out there, running groups ranging from newbie-friendly fragment farms + prog learning, to clear attempts. If you look around, you should be able to find one for your DC pretty easily.
