Is Baldesian Arsenal discord a mistake?

Ok so last night i actually find a pt in the discord but for the 2 hours i was in the pt we can't even get in BA once because some other big allaince claim the instance is their and refuse to leave. There were also complain in discord that there are snipping issue.

I believe it is a symptom of a problem; the discord breed elitism. IF the people are not invite to the discord, they can basically never get in BA as a party, net alone train and get crystal to boost their equipment. Every level 60 have a right to go in BA as long as they help fight the UFO and get gold. So the sniper/ pug only have 1 way to go in, they snip the portal when it turn red. I believe the discord requirement is a mistake.

Have you tried asking for an invitation to this Discord? There's nothing wrong with people organizing together to go in when it's available, whether that organization be done via in-game Linkshell, Discord, Skype, Facebook, etc etc. It's definitely not a "requirement" to be in a Discord, or at least not one set by SE, and honestly, for a dungeon like BA, it is much smarter to organize beforehand.

I don't think the problem lies with a discord existing or being created for that matter. The discord was made to foster communication and organization where the game currently lacks any tools for doing so in Hydatos to the scale players need to be successful in clearing BA bosses.

I'd rather suggest that the game developers allow a better means of coordinating large scales groups to actually take on Baldesian Arsenal so that players do not necessarily need 3rd party tools to really get a solid organization going.

Pretty much this. When SE won't provide good tools, people look elsewhere. But you shouldn't need said 3rd party tools to complete something.

They need to make improvements on cross world linkshells. The limit on being in only 1 is really restricting how useful the system is.

yes this. I'm currently sorta frustrated with the discord situation but I also can't blame people, cause its currently a way to organize it. I just got into an instance planning on trying BA but a premade came and whoosh I'm left out, and someone did mention a large scale argument breaking out between 2 large groups trying to get in earlier.

so yes they really need to make in game capabilities to access/organize content such as high end eureka stuff.

Imagine if it would've been more like: "First in, first serve" and people simply jumped in, grouped up in the voice after that and went from there. Sure, you might not get to play with your best buddy every time but we'd most likely have a lot more clears on a larger scale (something I kinda expect is going to happen over on the JP servers). They've got a much friendlier community in JP; people are less inclined to getting carried and try to pull their own weight and they're generally more humble. I firmly believe that the reason they clear stuff on a much broader scale than both EU and NA is because of their social culture and not actual skill level in terms of gameplay. Over here, we've got the every-man-for-himself mentality (which actually pmuch didn't exist until modern age MMORPGs) and it's a real shame.

Another solution would be to TALK to people upon joining the duty and make plans. If you want to make an effort to go in, make it known before the portals spawn and maybe you could sort things out quick and smoothly by either merging or splitting groups.

It would solve a lot of issue with the first room is a safe room where you can change class.

If they're a huge raid premade and politely ask people to leave portals for them and you snipe it. You're just being a jerk.
