Both of these, so very much. The rest of the bow animation is fine, it's just that last backwards stretch like "there, I've been polite, now I can go back to being all superior."
(Double-annoyingly, it seems like NPCs already have an alternate "simple bow" that they use occasionally in cutscenes. A bit stiff, but a lot less overdramatic.)
Use /cpose while sitting and there should be some alternate options - unless of course you've already done that and they're all bad. (I don't have a Miqo'te character.)

There are many of the 1.0 animations that I don't like so much, but I like a lot of the animations that came with HW and SB. Like the Paladin combo skills - the 1.0 ones don't look like I imagine a PLD moving, it's too much of Gladiator. I would like it if a lot of jobs would get upgraded animations that match their job more instead of their class.
I would also like it if every race could get another normal idle pose to choose as default. For example the male Au Ra default standing pose. Why can't they stand with their feet a little more apart from each other?
There are also poses like calling for your mount or interacting with quest items where everyone stands like a Midlander Hyur for those seconds. I hate that so much. I don't want my female character to stand like a gil spammer.
I want to be able to sit side-saddle on horses and chocobos with my female Au Ra. So an option to turn on/off sidle-saddle for other races would be great.
I also don't like the MNK and BLM poses with their weapon drawn. But I rarely play those classes anyway. Still, I would love multiple options for battle stances.
I would also play (for example) Warrior more with my female character if the poses were more feminine. It doesn't look nice when my female Au Ra moves like a brutish berserker. And I can't play healers with male characters because the poses are too feminine for my taste. It may be nice and perfect if you made a male character that is supposed to move like that, but if you made a character that is supposed to be like a stereotypically male it seems wrong to play healers, esp. WHM and AST. No offense meant. But we just create different types of characters.
