    I think an important oversight would be mounts having ground animations instead of some just having air animations even when on the ground.

    I would bring back individual weapon stances for the different races like FF 11 had. Like, all the races/genders in the game would have a different way of holding a weapon type. I remember the Mithra always held their two handed weapons like a giant shovel or something, and elvaan would hold them high in front of them, etc.

    I think 1.0 had this as well too? I wonder why they gutted it for ARR.

    Oh man I totally agree, as a warrior I hate how I walk with my weapon.. its like im trying to hand it off to someone instead of being ready to swing it.

    Yes, exactly! And I know a few races actually do change their stances for certain weapons, like how roes hold lances or lalas hold books. It almost seems like they started to program them and then just stopped.

    Not a player character animation but I really wish I could change the running cycle on the Primal Ponies. While Slepnir (and all his clones) are a bit better, I can't stand how stiff the ponies look when running. There should be more movement in the neck and the head shouldn't be snapping up and down so quickly as it is.
    Now that they're able to fly their animation looks so much smoother in the air, but I wish their movement on the ground had the same amount of polish too.

    Change doomspike into ring of thorns or change sonic thrust into ring of thorns. Or maybe, just give drgs the emote ring of thorns.

    Ring of Thorns for /vpose2 would be enough for me. They'd have to change how Doom Spike or Sonic Thrust function for it to replace them... which I admittedly wouldn't mind, just because of how awful Doom Spike in particular has always felt to use.

    All of the "Heated" shots. No gaudy, detached-from-any-intuitive-physical-value summoning of mechanical cheerleaders for gun-fu, ideally. Nor gun-fu, for that matter.

    And Stone IV, because Stone III actually looked both good and powerful and Stone IV doesn't quite manage either.

    I liked Stone III's spell animation more overall, but I also particularly dislike that Stone IV uses the "Holy" cast animation. It doesn't seem right to be using that for another spell, especially Stone.

    Aero III uses it too, which makes me think it's just the casting animation Square's chosen for powerful white magic no matter what.

    Stone's developed some weird pattern where it seems to alternate between a projectile and the ground erupting underneath the target. I'm expecting the inevitable Stone V to just be the WHM conjuring a boulder several times their size.
