running FFXIV on MacOS, and some questions about 1440p

hi all, just wondering if anyone here tried the MacOS version of FFXIV? i have high sierra, and i already tried other games such as League of legends which worked fine.

I have kind of an older card, GTX960 with a new mobo i5-8400, wondering how well it would run on it, i suppose there is a benchmark for Mac OS i can try.

I am wondering about the cost, is there anyway to avoid paying 59$ for a separate copy? i already placed per-order for windows for shadow bringers.

On another note(windows), I use 1440p, and with my gxt960 if I run on max settings have a little frame rate drop. what new generation medium range card would you recommend to get 75 frames max settings 1440p? I am thinking either to get RTX2060 or wait for GTX1160. anything more expensive might be out of my budget right now.

Which preorder did you do for Shadowbringers? Because the Collectors Edition comes with all the prior expansions, just not the base game which you must get separately.

I got base game for windows and stormblood, and pre-ordered shadow bringers code for PC, for 39$

for the macOS, i think i may wait for when it releases and see what options i got.. i am guessing the best option would be to get a full pack for macos , as it's totally separated from windows, correct?
