DF queues and the "sweet spot"

I noticed the "Alliance raids" daily "adventurer in need" bonus is rotating quite fair between all three roles.

Do you think 1tank/2healers/5dps is the best "sweet spot" for the queue, or I just were living on a lucky server and you are into tragedy instead?

its more due to what the content is, since most use it for levelling from 50 to 60 tanks and healers have a easy time with the 3 lvl 50 raids, LotA and CT are very easy heal wise and all 3 are very easy tank wise, so with that the DPS in need comes up more its the same with main story roulette, since people don't want to wait over an hour to do one dungeon that one also tends to get a lot of DPS in need at times.

change the roulette to have the lvl 70 ones included and you'll probably never see the DPS in need for them for a while.

It works for alliance raids because there's still more than one tank to handle adds, meteors, ball popping, MT death and so forth. The same composition won't work for 8-man, at least not the more relevant 8-man since these fights are designed with two tanks in mind. DPS often benefit from alliance raid queues because they make up 15 of the 24 slots required. The fact that you still sometimes see the adventurer in need being a tank for them is a testament to just how many DPS there are out there at any given time in the queues.

I agree with Draco about why we sometimes see the DPS being in need for main story roulette. It's very easy, braindead content, especially for healers so you're going to get a lot of them in those queues. In fact, I have never seen the adventurer in need being a healer for main story roulette

The only lv70 alliance raid that isn't in the roulette is the latest one. Ridorana has been in the alliance roulette since 4.4 (Sept 17, 2018), and Rabanastre well before that.

The 70 ones are included. I've gotten Rabanastre and Lighthouse both from the Alliance raid queues.

That being said if folks are trying to use the alliance raid queues to level healers and tanks, that's why you would see the DPS in need here and there.

ah didn't know that, been queuing for a while on it and i have not encountered the level 70 raids, assumed they were not included. my bad

The level 70 ones do get added, though if someone's using the roulette to level a job they'll never get one of the Ivalice raids because, well, they're not level 70 yet, so they don't have to worry about getting them while leveling.
