Okay, guys I get it. I really do. Your tabletop event food items are super cute and a definite cut above much of the stuff we get in game. I totally get why you're excited about them. But please have mercy on my tables? How about some pretty new furnishings, or outdoor items instead? Or maybe some glamour outfits and chocobo barding? I don't think my inventory can handle much more of me getting all this food.

I'm good with both! Heck I would be thrilled if the food items were things I could craft and make as needed so they don't take up space in my inventory until I want them to.

I just want the mats gone on bigger items. It creates placement issues if you don't want an oddly angle mat and the items tend to be so big that you can't fit multiple place settings effectively on anything but the huge tables. They also aren't dyable so if they don't match your color scheme you either clash or don't get to use the item.

I'm so bloody tired of all these food furnishings. Yes they look cute but honestly if you want to decorate within the theme of an event, these small furnishings with very limited use don't help at all. I really miss when we got real furniture and not meals.

I'm also pretty meh about these new food items. I saw them and was like "oh, more food items... okay..." Every event seems to have them now. I rarely use the ones with the placemats for reasons mentioned above, and both of these have them, so... yeah. Into storage in case they somehow become useful in the future, I guess.

On the other hand, I'm super stoked for that adorable (dyeable!) flower crown.

Last year we got cool ass balloons and doll houses we could use as stairs. But the past couple events have been all food or table decorations. Curry plates, pumpkin platters, lobster, cake, soup... The snow man butts were a happy coincidence. Most of these items are pretty useless for decorator's. If you want a cake, there are plenty of cakes already in the game. If you really need more food items then give cul something to craft. Cul is pretty useless for decorating anyway right now.

To be fair, we had a pretty decent selection of goodies for the Christmas event a couple months ago. Not only did we get food but also the snowmen, the present boxes, a tree, and a new music scroll. But yes, we could use more variety with other events, and it certainly wouldn't kill them to toss in the occasional outdoor item too. I'm sure they want to include those who only have access to apartments and FC rooms, but having both indoor and outdoor options helps this, plus these players can save these items for if they happen to get their own houses too.

SE really need to make some furnishings usable both indoors and outdoors. That way we can get more outdoor furnishings without leaving out players without gardens.
