That's for the Eureka gear which is just the same model as the gear from Pyros but glowy. I meant the Kirin's Osode and Vermillion Cloak that are remakes of gear from FFXI. You get them for trading items to the nostalgia vendor in Kugane.
I found someone on the Eureka discord saying the items you need to get them come randomly from chests in the Baldesion Arsenal.
I'm pretty miffed how the FFXI glams I want went from easy-peasy to get in Anemos, to mildly infuriating in Pagos, and now this.![]()

The size of Hydatos is perfect. I have a lot of gripes of Eureka, but the size of Hydatos is spot on, not unnecessarily big with loads of BS to do nothing but slow down progress.

I like all of the design
Remember when Lux came and people complained about aswelllooked at those complainers lodestone and saw they used Lux.
Also i noticed that some NMs doesnt have annoying mobs around. But rather added mobs for nm to kill you.

So far I think the zone is fine. I like the aesthetics and like how it's more open than the narrow corridors and cliffs we've been stuck with in Pagos and Pyros.
The weapons skins are definitely terrible for the most part, though. I was hoping for a more subdued glow of the weapon itself instead of giant swirling lights everywhere. For the Samurai's first relic, I am definitely disappointed. Why does it need an eyeball in the hilt?

Oh god. This is really duscouraging as I want them too. We don't have to lot against 56 people for a chance at the mats do we? Wonder if it will be like bunny chests? Individual loot? Ugh. ><That's for the Eureka gear which is just the same model as the gear from Pyros but glowy. I meant the Kirin's Osode and Vermillion Cloak that are remakes of gear from FFXI. Zone is pretty easy to navigate. My friend and I opened the entire map and we were just 51 and a half. The mobs are not densely packed as they are in Pyros so even doing bunnies as a low level is pretty easy. We hit 52 yesterday after doing a full challenge log in Anemos (to get the 51 aether) and a couple NM's in Hydratos. Seems leveling to 60 is going to be pretty easy given many have already gotten there.
I liked most of the weapons from Hydatos, just the PLD that was really weird.

I know i'm probably in the minority here, I mean I do think some of the relics are... not fantastic, (I'm looking at you PLD sword)... but others I find very interesting and have a flair of Amano to them. They are VERY stylized and while not practical add something new and fresh to the same old same old. The Samurai weapon in particular reminds me of something Firion would use, and as a FF2 fan I absolutely love it. The WHM weapon and AST weapon are also very different yet somehow give me a sense of nostalgia. I do agree the Glow is ... A LOT... but then again I am a fan of the weapon design more than the particle effect in most weapons anyway. So far I think the zone is fine.
