How many moving here?

Hello, I play on Selbina and that is very quiet in the morning (UK time) and afternoon, picks up after 7pm but most busy after midnight which is too late for me.
This server sounds ideal but how many will move to it? I cant make my mind up on weather to move

Well we don't have any exact figures, but according to XIVpads, 751 players said they will move there, which is already a lot I believe, considering not everyone is visiting that website.

That number can't be exactly trusted because LS officers can move all of the LS members without their permissions. Some of my friends don't even have xivpads accounts and they got moved into EU servers from their social LS officers when they plan to stay at merge server. So, yea I won't exactly trust xivpads numbers when LS officers can move the whole LS without some members actually agreeing to move or not.

If they registered they can lock their character to not be moved! =D

It does ask to please talk with your LS before moving the whole LS, a lot of LS movements are legit and there are a lot of people removing themselves from their LS chosen selection.

Its not a matter of trusting the numbers or not, its just a "ball-park figure" and the only real statistics we have now until SE decide to share them, (if they even do). The page is a tool to be used if the community want it. It is not fact numbers, doesn't state it is.

It will only be more accurate if people can be bothered to use it rather than complaining about it =(

Not to mention if there was somewhere I could get the names of people moving but dont want to be part of Pads I could do it manually, some I have already through people contacting me XD

You do realize though that most people who are moving to Ragnarok don't have FFXIVpads so the actual number of people switching to Ragnarok is going to be even higher than the numbers on FFXIVpads, right?

the server will be dead at all hours except EU primetime.
its a new server so it will have only EU players (why would anyone else want to move to a server like that)

so if 750+++ sounds like a good number for a whole server...

No overcrowded farm spots during NA and JP primetime?
There are some NA linkshells moving to Ragnarok

751 who registered on FFXIV Pad and used the merge tool there. The real number would be higher.

so the benefit is that if you ever want to farm anything you have to have no job, sounds great.

even if the real number is 4000 it will still be way lower than any other server
