I will be moving here too, I am excited about an EU server. I felt pretty left out when I was playing on Mysidia and the lack of communication was always apparent due to the language barrier. Not really sure why everyone else is making Ragnarok out to be a bad server though, the other EU people who aren't moving to Ragnarok aren't helping either...

Ragnarok, as for active account, may become a most populated server. A few Japanese who has adventurer mind will move to Ragnarok.

On the other hand, it is expected fewer resources. Particularly, the old items I think.
So I propose that we take the old items into the new world. For example:
- Dated equipments and it's parts
- Items that were no longer gathered

Let's vitalize economy of the new world, and see you in Ragnarok＼(^o^)／

Wow, read this whole thread.... I'm glad people haven't been put off by others who would try to accomplish exactly that. I have been committed to coming to Ragnarok since they announced it. I'm an American married to an English lady and living in the U.K. I never had a lack of people to play with while I lived in the U.S. but once I moved to the U.K. the issues started, even back in FFXI. FFXIV was 10 x worse. I was quite happy to hear that SE was dedicating a server to EU players. Here we are now and we'll see how it goes. I'm currently seeking a Linkshell that's English speaking, based around UK/EU/GMT time, or at least has many members that play during that time, is multi faceted from social to end game content. If anyone knows of an excellent linkshell, please let me know, here or in game.
