The server could have 20 players for all I care as long as I can raid between the hours of 7pm and midnight.
Speaking of which, I'm interested in which end-game linkshells will be moving to Ragnarok.

I have a feeling of Déjà vu
Interesting, I was not aware of this. That number can't be exactly trusted because LS officers can move all of the LS members without their permissions. Some of my friends don't even have xivpads accounts and they got moved into EU servers from their social LS officers when they plan to stay at merge server. So, yea I won't exactly trust xivpads numbers when LS officers can move the whole LS without some members actually agreeing to move or not.
I considered moving to this server but I have my doubts. On my current server I generally have two options, GMT shells that run 6-10pm and EST shells that run 12-4am. I always find it suprising that I can never find a GMT shell that runs from 8-12, there has to be more people out there with work/family commitments lol.
If you look through the new Worlds forums it seems a lot of the EU people are planing NOT to move to Rag. I'd suggest looking through and maybe trying to see which fits what you're looking for if you don't find what you like on Ragnarock. Of course I am going to be bias and suggest Balmung ,where our EU/NA LS is going but just do your homework and see what fits you best. This is a good chance for all EU players wanting to move to Rag and also not wanting to move to Rag.I considered moving to this server but I have my doubts. See what best fits you. Could be here. Could be Balmung. Could even be the server you're on now.
Good luck mate.
Sorry, I meant MANY people, not most.
And I know it because a huge number of people who are moving from my server to Ragnarok are not on FFXIVpads and I dared to assume it's the same on other servers![]()
I see, because on your server forum it says most of the EU Lses on lindblum don't want to go to Ragnarock. Perhaps you should save your rolling eye face for them? Yeah? Good idea? cause I'm not sure why me asking warrants attitude but its cool I guess![]()

Perhaps you should broaden your horizon and notice there are thousands of people playing FFXIV who do not use the forums..?![]()
Empirical or not, Atoli is pretty much right in that the numbers from XIVpads only represent a fraction of the whole player base. Even with MMOs, only a small part of players actually visit forums or other community sites, and an even smaller part actually participate in what these sites have to offer. But it doesn't really matter either, since the data from XIVpads should be a large enough sample to see a tendency.
About 16% of all the people who are moving to another server choose Ragnarok, so only 6% above the average. By far not enough to outweigh the fact that Ragnarok starts with a population of zero, while the others start with the large amount of players who choose not to switch servers manually. Of course there are still a hundred other factors to consider, like the fact that XIVpads is a mainly english website and probably less popular with german and french players, who in turn most probably make out a big chuck of Ragnarok's future population. Still, I think it's safe to assume that Ragnarok will end up with a comparatively low number of players.
That being said, I don't see a need to argue about this. SE apparently thinks it might work out, and they're the ones with all the numbers. If it doesn't, they'll provide everyone with a chance to transfer to another server. No harm done either way.
lol it's funny I found out last night that Wutai does indeed have an EU LS. I've known about it for ages but always thought they were NA for some reason. So I could either apply there and stay where I am if accepted or continue with my planned move. There's little holding me back to Wutai however, I could count on one hand all the people I know. And they're all in different linkshells so it's not like I'd ever be playing with them for anything that matters.
