I noticed that on my server. Then again I'm seeing a ton of Relics pop up so I assume 1 of 2 things:
1) They're mostly our farming dungeons and relics
2) They simply left cause a date was announced for FF14's closing

I don't even have enough friends online to do anything we can't simply PUG and it's the same for a lot of people I know.

Having a good linkshell helps, I have no trouble finding a buddy within my linkshell to spend time with (even though I am more of a solo player), just last week I had someone tag along with my leve achievements just because he wanted to keep me company.

True. A lot of the English (or auto-translated) shouts I see are for AF pieces or general grinding.

Aside from that a lot of people I know are really busy and focused on the relic quest so we are usually doing Hamlet, trying to speed run the dungeons, attacking the stronghold bosses, solo grinding beastcoins, or just playing around with skirmish for a change... so it's mainly LS runs right now.

For the most part this is true on Gungnir as well, but I've also been seeing a lot of shouts for Moogle and Hamlet.

What Minun said is pretty much true. In the same shell as him and most of the time people are down for pretty much whatever. A lot of people tend to stay within their own groups just for the convenience factor really. Not quite anything new there, but I guess with 1.0 coming to a close so soon a lot of the people that rely heavily on pick-up groups are taking a break from the game now.

Yea although i still do events everyday with my LS,It's probably just members chillin and waiting for ARR and also maybe GW2 has a few people doing other things at the moment etc,

Im sure it will pick up again for you badomen.

I haven't had problems getting PUGs for anything so far, but I spend the same amount of time joining PUGs or helping LS mates on things I've already done.

If you're having problems finding enough people to do the content you need to do, help out other people - ten minutes in Ul'dah will give you a choice of three or four things to do. Those same people will be inclined to give you their time the following evening if you've helped them; you may even get invited to a linkshell who's members will go out of their way to help you out.
