Regarding the Revision of the Prohibited Activities and Account Penalty Policy

Another example being someone created an FFXIV mod that looks like a dress from another game but replaces the glade tunic or some other in game piece of gear client side? These activities do not hinder other players nor give an advantage in game. They are simply cosmetic. I’d very much like an answer to this so I know if I can continue using these or not. Without clarification if I do get banned this would be unfair as your policy is quite vague, and no one can be bothered to answer the community. I enjoy being creative with my screenshots and taking that away when I’m not altering anything for an advantage over others isn’t fair.

And what about FFLogs? lol. That's very definitely a third-party tool. Not that I would bemoan the demise of FFLogs. I would quite welcome it, in fact.

Just remove the watermark and don't throw the screenshots on places where SE will be likely to see it, such as these forums, tweeting with the ffxiv tag, ect. Keep it personal, share with friends through discord/skype/PM's.

SE will never say it's okay to use third-party tools that interact with their game.

Reshsde has always been a grey area, and mesh/texture swap mods have always been against the rules.

Though, it has me wondering. Have they lifted the font ask dont tell policy on parsers like act and fflogs and instead gone back to "just dont ever do it"?

FFlogs is a third party website though, so technically its just as allowed or disallowed as the wiki or any other item database.

below is a non-exhaustive list of behaviour that could constitute harassment in Final Fantasy XIV:

・Discriminatory expressions based on gender identity
・Obscene/indecent expressions
・Actions that inflict emotional distress using content related to historical events or crimes
・Other actions that are generally regarded as actions that inflict deep emotional distress on another person

"Offensive expression" means an expression in general that inflicts emotional distress by being offensive to another person. Offensive expression may include:

・Aggressive expressions such as violent language/slander/insult/threat.
・Expressions that provoke or belittle another person, such as excessive criticism, negation/ridicule
・Expressions that significantly lack consideration for another person
・Expressions that unilaterally reject another person's opinion
・Expressions that any reasonable person would find offensive
・Expressions that compel a playing style
・Expressions that attempt to unilaterally exclude someone from the game or content/community, etc.
(Except when in accordance with rules set by an administrator such as a Free Company Master)
・Expressions that contravene public order and morals
・Other expressions that are offensive to another person

Get woke go broke. This is the last thing FFXIV needs, the game is doing great right now. You do not need this petty distraction. You are satisfying nobody with these changes. Other than "woke" SJW games journalists. Do not dishonor your game by appealing to these journalists and to people who do not even play your game.

People can blacklist folks, you do not need this kind of hand holding. This is a slippery slope that leads the game down a dark path. Appealing to SJWs is a self destructive behavior, turn back before ye is destroyed. SJWs do not have as much power as they project, do not let them destroy the community of the game.
