And here, ladys and gentlemen, we see how Square Enix gets people into Eureka.
"Lets add something unique into content almost nobody likes so it looks like almost everybody likes it!"

this is a nice reward (and a lot of bragging rights!) for the people who stuck through Eureka from start to finish, so yes, it is not for everybody. If you (general you) manage to beat the ultimate challenge Eureka throws at you, the Baldesion Arsenal, thus saying "I did it all, now I am really done" then you deserve this reward
Pagos is SO easy now, I don't understand why so many people are still so butthurt about it. Astrologian sucked ass in 3.0 at first but they fixed it and people loved it... so why does Pagos have such Stigma attached to it. You can literally Solo Pagos now. That said, I'm super excited for Hydatos and Ozma and can't wait to jump when I get off work.

A job is not side content. (BLU is the exception.)
I'm okay with this. At least it's directly related to Eureka and makes thematic sense being a reward for doing Eureka content.
Unlike a number of rewards from previous Eurekas (*cough* form and function hairstyle *cough cough* /shiver and /scheme emotes) that didn't belong in there and were only included as an incredibly dirty way to lure in players who otherwise would have no interest in that type of content.
I just want to express how happy I am that for once there is nothing that I desperately want out of Hydatos. That means I'm finally free to treat Eureka as a form of entertainment available at my discretion and at my own pace, as opposed to a chore whose availability and quality is dictated by a variable number of inconsistent, unreliable strangers.
I just hope that if they attempt to do another iteration of Diadem, they will let it stand on its own merits and cater exclusively to the people who enjoy Diadem-type content. If Eureka was really supposed to be a love-letter to FF11, they should have filled it chock-full of iconic FF11 stuff, nothing but unashamed pandering and nostalgia. That would have probably been received much better by a much smaller but more passionate audience. Random Gold Saucer rewards and relics did not need to be held hostage by Eureka. Designing niche content and then incentivising an unnecessarily wide array of players to play it for hundreds of hours has hopefully been proven to have been a terrible decision.

It's not only beating the Arsenal. Like the Arsernal looks manageable, it's dragging myself through the unpleasant grind that's the killer.this is a nice reward (and a lot of bragging rights!) for the people who stuck through Eureka from start to finish, so yes, it is not for everybody. Easy = entertaining or fun.Pagos is SO easy now, I don't understand why so many people are still so butthurt about it. They can keep it. After seeing the Hydatos weapons I have no desire to finish my Pyros weapon... still need like 6 unique logoactions for that anyway and I'm not farming any more bunnies.
We have to admit, it's a pretty smart move.
Because spending 2 hours bashing mobs IS NOT content, at best it's a way to make you think you have something to do in ordre to keep your sub up
People don't know how to take criticism anymore, and bad play is rewarded with with a coddling mentality. Yes, this is a casual game for the most part - that doesn't mean people need to walk on eggshells in fear of getting reported for pointing out things. This whole 'please don't say anything even slightly negative' mentality that we seem to be going towards and the devs seemingly pushing towards it is creating a disturbing trend.
I could argue dungeons aren't content then, all you do is spend 20-30 minutes running down a corridor bashing mobs until you hit a boss which is less mechanically intense than most Eureka NMs, rinse and repeat for every roulette.
What I want to know is if we'll see the Prophet of the Sky Butthole
I LIKE the fence. I get 2 groups to laugh at then.
